Ancient cities photoshoot near Antalya

Ancient cities photoshoot near Antalya

The ancient cities near Antalya mean Roman columns, marble streets, amphitheatres and the warm texture of old stone. We shoot where it is genuinely accessible: Perge, Aspendos and other surviving sites in the region.

This is a shoot about scale and history — a person against two-thousand-year-old walls. The frames turn out calm and cinematic, without fuss or crowds, if you pick the right time.

about the location

What to know about a shoot in the ancient cities

  1. Perge, Aspendos and others

The gallery includes different ancient sites near Antalya. Perge is about 20 minutes from the centre, with its colonnade, baths and stadium. Aspendos is around 45 minutes away, with its famous Roman amphitheatre. We choose the particular site to suit the idea of the shoot and what is available on your dates.

  2. Access checked in advance

The key point about access: entry to ancient cities in Turkey is regulated by law — somewhere it is open, somewhere it is paid, and sometimes shooting is temporarily banned. The rules change, so we check the availability of a particular site for your date in advance — just message me and I’ll tell you what is allowed right now.

  3. Looks to match the stone

It’s best to build the looks around the colour of the stone — warm beige, terracotta, sand and ochre tones, natural fabrics that move well. These colours don’t fight the ancient walls but continue their palette.

  4. Morning or pre-sunset

We shoot in soft morning or pre-sunset light — the stone turns golden then, and there are noticeably fewer tourists. At midday the open ruins are harsh and hot, so the early hour almost always wins.
