Lake Salda photoshoot
Lake Salda is a crater lake formed millions of years ago after a large asteroid impact. The white mineral shore and turquoise water look very much like the Maldives.
It is a striking location with bright, saturated colour. The drive from Antalya is about 2 hours, so we set aside the full day for the shoot.

What you need to know about Lake Salda
Turkey’s Maldives
White shore, turquoise water and mountains around it — the picture is clean and very bright. For the richest colour, it is better to shoot in sunlight, closer to midday — it can be hot work, but the result is worth it.
The road and full day
The drive from Antalya is about 2 hours each way, so we plan the whole day in advance. The date and timing are agreed by booking.
Who it suits
The location works well for individual and feminine portraits, couples and Love Story, maternity and bright content — the white shore carries the frame on its own.
Sun and what to bring
Bring comfortable shoes and a hat — the shore is open and sunny. I will advise on outfits that contrast with the white and turquoise during preparation.
