Indoor photoshoot in Antalya

Interior photoshoot in Antalya

An interior photoshoot in Antalya is not a shoot in a decorated studio set, but work in real spaces: boutique hotels in the Old Town, character cafés, apartments with big windows, terraces and venues near the promenade. There are no classic interior photo studios in Antalya — and that becomes an advantage, because we shoot in places with genuine character.

I choose the location for each request: tell me what mood and style you are looking for, and I will find a suitable place. If my list of trusted venues does not have exactly what you need, I arrange it individually.

about the location

About shooting in interior locations in Antalya

  1. Real spaces in Antalya

In big cities, an “interior photo studio” often means a rented studio set or an apartment with designer renovation, prepared specifically for shoots. Antalya has very little of that format — but it has many real spaces with character: intimate hotels in Kaleiçi, independent cafés with brickwork and old tiles, bright apartments in the Lara area, restaurants and terraces overlooking the marina.

  2. Venue chosen in advance

Most often, I choose the place in advance for a specific story: a family morning in a bright apartment, romance in a room with a terrace above Kaleiçi, or a lifestyle series in a stylish café. I have trusted locations I work with regularly — I know where the right light will be and at what time of day.

  3. A list of contacts

If that list does not include what you want, tell me what atmosphere you are looking for and I will find it. Over the years of working in Antalya, I have built a good contact list: owners of small hotels, managers of independent cafés, and hosts of short-stay apartments. Sometimes it is possible to arrange a shoot somewhere photographers are not usually allowed.

  4. Weather doesn’t matter

The big advantage of an interior shoot is that the weather and season do not matter. We can shoot in summer heat, in rain, or in winter. Air conditioning, coffee and soft window light create an atmosphere you simply cannot get outdoors at midday in August.

Practical details

A location for your idea

There is no ready-made catalogue of “interior studios” — there is my list of trusted places and an understanding of what usually works for different tasks. Tell me the atmosphere you want, and I will find a space that fits the style.

Book in advance

Cafés and hotels need to be agreed at least 3–5 days in advance. Some owners allow shoots only at specific times — usually in the morning, before the main flow of guests. The earlier the date is known, the more location options we have.

Light and time of day

The best interior frames are made in daylight from large windows — usually between 10:00 and 16:00. I visit the location in advance to see how the light falls and to choose angles for the specific time.

Location cost

Some cafés allow shooting in return for orders from the participants, some hotels charge a fixed fee, and daily apartment rental is a separate cost. We discuss every option in advance, so there are no surprises on the day.

Who it works for

You do not like the heat

Summer in Antalya means +35 °C and harsh sun. An interior shoot removes that problem: cool air, air conditioning and an unhurried pace without running from one patch of shade to another.

An intimate atmosphere

If you want frames without strangers in the background, wind or noise, a closed space gives a sense of intimacy and trust — especially important for portraits and couples.

Personal brand and lifestyle

A business portrait in a café, content for social media, a series for a landing page — a recognisable location supports your visual identity better than a neutral backdrop.

Families with small children

With children, everything is easier when there is a bathroom, tea, toys and a place to rest calmly. In a café or apartment, children are often calmer than on the beach.

Maternity out of season

When the beach is cold and grey, soft light from a large window is the best alternative. No wind, no chill — just a cosy home-like look, a blanket and a cup of cocoa.

Atmospheric portraits

A stylish interior is already half the frame. A bookshelf, a vintage chest of drawers, a balcony above the Old Town roofs — the character of the place works for the portrait.

What to combine it with

An interior shoot is easy to combine with city and seaside locations — here is what fits well alongside.
