Irises are very delicate flowers that grow north of Antalya, in Isparta. This is not a typical flower field: it is grown for bulbs, so the blooming window is very short.
Farmers try to cut the irises quickly, but I know a farmer who calls as soon as the field blooms — usually around May.

A delicate spring field
This is a working field in Isparta: irises are grown for bulb propagation, so the beautiful bloom does not last long. Purple and blue-lilac flowers under a soft spring sky create a very delicate image.
