Tekirova bay photoshoot near Kemer

A quiet cove next to the resort area, right in Tekirova. Previously, I used to take clients from this area to Kemer or Göynük for a shoot, which meant a 40–50 minute drive. This cove is a real find: it is in Tekirova itself, quick to reach, and gives just as many frames.

The main feature is the almost complete absence of people. In season, it is usually calm here, and most of the time there is no need to remove people in Photoshop: the cove is quiet and the frames are clean. Sometimes tame horses wander in — three of them, coming up to tourists, and you can even be photographed next to them.

What is special about Tekirova cove

A quiet enclosed cove
The cove is quiet and enclosed, with few tourists even in high season. That is rare on the coast — usually there are people everywhere, and we have to work around them in the frame. Here, it is almost a wild beach within walking distance of Tekirova hotels.
Sea and a green lawn
Besides the sea and rocks, the location has a green lawn with trees. This is a rare combination — in one shoot, you can make both seaside frames and nature portraits with a green background. A versatile set without moving between locations.
A surprise — tame horses
The surprise of the location is the horses. Three tame horses graze on the lawn and often come up to people. Not every shoot is lucky enough to meet them, but if it happens, the result is warm, lively frames with animals. The horses are not arranged for the shoot, so it is a bonus, not a guarantee.
Handy for Tekirova guests
This is the most convenient location for anyone staying in Tekirova itself. Previously, the shoot had to be done in Kemer or Göynük; now everything is nearby, saving about an hour on the road.

The cove is almost empty all summer. On most beaches in the region, the frame has to be built around strangers. Here, there is space and quiet.

Horses — a bonus, not a guarantee

Three tame horses graze on the lawn and come up to people. Not every shoot is lucky enough to meet them — this is a bonus, not a planned part of the programme.
